Goodbean Coffee, the Brighton-based coffee shop chain, has appointed Richard Kelly as finance director.
He was formerly with brewing giant Whitbread and in the late Nineties he led the financial team which carried out the rapid growth of the Costa Coffee chain.
Goodbean has shops in Brighton, Bristol, Oxford and Reading and plans to expand to 20 shops in the next 12 months.
