Gardners celebrated the fruits of their labour at Chailey Horticultural Society's annual show.
Food and wines were also up before the judges at the village hall. All the wines were home-made and judges got a taste before deciding on the winners.
The event, which is one of the oldest staged in the area, has been known to produce some unusual wines.
Gardeners hoping to win coveted awards had spent many months nurturing carrots, onions, and other vegetables along with colourful flowers.
Among the winners at the recent Plumpton and District Horticultural Society's show was a blend of runner beans and elderberries.
