What possesses some people to attack others merely because they view them as different? Ricardo Saroyan-James was viciously attacked because he is in a minority group.
If we cannot rely on parents and schools to ensure children grow into decent and compassionate people, surely our only hope is the courts will rid society of such unforgivable and unacceptable behaviour by imposing the severest of sentences.
