Youth In Action today salutes Sussex's mini Olympians.
The county's Millennium Youth Games team have received our Sports Personality of the Month award for August.
Often the winner is an individual, but we felt all 110 kids, 21 sports team managers and three overall managers, deserved recognition.
Assistant manager James Rouse said: "The kids are quite surprised and chuffed to get the award.
"Their own 'Olympics' was great, because it gave athletes who weren't at elite level a chance. Now they've got your trophy as well it's a motivation for them all.
"They've also been getting inspired by the Olympics itself and part of the reason is they've got an idea of what all the athletes are going through.
"Also it's great that all the Sussex volunteers behind the scenes have had a bit of recognition too. There was a lot of work went into it."
Districts or boroughs represent Sussex included: Hastings, Lewes, Wealden, Horsham, Worthing, Mid Sussex, Eastbourne and Arun competing in athletics, football, hockey, rugby, swimming, tennis and netball.
