In her address to protesters preparing to march on the Labour Party Conference, Baroness Mallalieu, president of the Countryside Alliance, claimed to be speaking on behalf of the single greatest political force in the land (Argus, September 26).
If so, it is about time she and the Countryside Alliance stopped their rabble-rousing protests and demonstrations and formed their own political party.
The electorate would then show how much support their fox-hunting policies have and, if her claims are true, bloodsports enthusiasts would have a number of representatives in parliament to put their views in a democratic way.
