What a complete and utter waste of public money and time it has been to police Brighton's seafront with forces from all over the country during the Labour Party Conference.
I was horrified and disgusted to see the lengths and extremes the police have gone to, including being rude to innocent taxi drivers and pedestrians who get in the way of their heavy-handed operation.
I understand the operation cost the tax payer in the region of £2 million.
Wouldn't this money have been better spent cutting hospital queues for people dying of cancer, for example, and let the fat cats of politics enjoy their conferences over the internet, like everybody else?
