What an insulting article by the Sage of Sussex. He writes that we pensioners have relentlessly abused our bodies in the past and now it's catching up on us.
He says we have smoked too much, drunk too much, eaten the wrong food, not exercised enough and now can't get out of our armchairs. I'm certainly not going to say thank you, as he suggests, for my 75p rise, my £10 Christmas bonus and cheaper bus fares. They should thank us for all the tax we've paid and continue to pay.
