A Sussex firm has gone to the dogs with the creation of a promotional CD-Rom for an international greyhound racing site.
But the web venture might never have existed had not Key MS marketing manager John Wood helped its founder and funder get together.
East Grinstead-based KeyMS put together the presentation for Gobarkingmad. com, a site which will show webcasts of greyhound races every few minutes 24 hours a day.
The site was born after Mr Wood introduced Australian dog racing fanatic and TV presenter Arthur Cooper to his brother-in-law, the millionaire internet mogul Nigel Robertson.
Mr Robertson, who made his fortune founding directory service Scoot.com, is chairman of net gambling giant Gaming Internet.
He agreed to take on Mr Cooper's vision of a global dog racing site.
Mr Cooper has since travelled the world with the Key MS CD-Rom, securing the rights to 75,000 races a year in Britain, the U.S. and Australia.
Key MS' CD-Rom showed potential investors what the site would look like when fully operational.
Mr Wood said: "Arthur had an amazing amount of expert knowledge.
"If you get a dot com, you have to be an expert in what you get into."
The site's owners hope to take a share of the £5 billion which is staked on the dogs every year.
It will launch in April 2001.
