A post-mortem is to be carried out today following the death of a six-week-old baby.
The child was rushed to Eastbourne District General Hospital early yesterday after falling ill at his home in Windmill Hill, near Hailsham.
Medical staff could not save the child, who was certified dead at 3.40am.
Police have been informed of the death but they have confirmed they are not treating it as suspicious.
