Unpaid Daewoo workers hoping to hear when their wages would arrive were disappointed again today.
More than 750 staff at the company's technical centre in Worthing received letters last week saying the firm had hit a cash crisis and could not pay them.
Employees were told an announcement would be made this morning as soon as they arrived for work.
But a spokeswoman for Daewoo said today's meeting of the creditors in Korea had now been adjourned until Friday, without reaching a decision and giving no reason for the delay.
She said: "The workers obviously can't hang on that long to hear what is going to happen.
"So we are contacting diplomats, the Department of Trade and Industry and the embassies to hurry things along."
It is the fourth time workers have not been paid on time but the company has said it will pay any costs incurred.
Daewoo has already announced 113 job losses at the plant. Industry Secretary Stephen Byers has pledged to step in and hold talks with Daewoo bosses on behalf of workers.
Daewoo's problems began when Korea went into economic crisis and the firm has been on the market for some time.
