How considerate of the Countryside Alliance to place an advertisement in a recent issue of the Argus apologising for any inconvenience caused by their processions and protests during the Labour Party Conference.
What a polite bunch they are! I wonder if they could also be so considerate as to not pursue terrified foxes across acres of land for hours on end and finally watch proudly while their frenzied hounds tear them to pieces.
Who exactly benefits from their country sport? The general public? Country wildlife? Or the bloodthirsty bunch who provide this wonderful service for us?
I am neither misguided or unaware. Fox-hunting is cruel, vicious and obscene and no polite notice in the Press will ever change my view on that.
