I was amazed the writer of the article on the controversial parking scheme in Hove (Argus, October 6) felt obliged to ask Russell Hicks, the chairman of Campaign for a Better Brighton and Hove, whom he represented.
His answer of 1,500 members must be modest in the extreme as I, like thousands of others, support his stand against the disgraceful behaviour of our Labour council on many issues.
Keep it up, Mr Hicks, this town needs people like you.
