Barbie Keel shouldn't be too worried about her dog, Juke, who lost a front leg in an accident. Obviously, four legs is the ideal, but my Labrador, Barney, is now eight and has spent the past six years without one of his front legs.
Barney enjoys short, but interesting walks and is a brilliant swimmer.
He copes extremely
well with his disability.
Barney lost his leg as a result of neglect following a road accident. He was featured in the Argus when he was rescued by the RSPCA in 1994 and he subsequently came to live with us. I hope Juke soon finds a new and happy home.
