Hundreds of fans clamoured to see the homecoming of a group of local chart heroes last night.
Eastbourne band Toploader took the stage at the packed Floral Halls in a one-off gig to say thank you to loyal fans.
The band has enjoyed a sensational year with top 20 hits, a top ten debut album and a successful British Tour.
Toploader were the last British band to play at Wembley Stadium when they supported Bon Jovi.
Toploader members Joseph Washbourn, Dan Hipgrave, Matt Knight, Rob Green and Julian Dean first met at Eastbourne pub Sullivans.
Since then they have been signed by Sony and are now considered one of the hottest new pop acts in the country.
