It was one of those weeks last week when I just didn't seem to get organised at all and the days just flew by.

I only realised on Thursday evening, when I went to an open evening at daughter's school, that it was half term after the weekend.

Talk about a sudden panic. For some reason I thought it was the week after.

Luckily, daughter's grandparents are able to have her while her Dad and I are at work.

The cats can look after themselves and the dog goes with my husband on the boat.

Unfortunately, he was seasick today so we are having to reassess that as an option for his daytime activity.

I'm not too sure about having to leave him indoors as I think he will get bored and destroy the contents of whatever room we leave him in.

So far he has rearranged my sock drawer by distributing the contents all over the house and eaten four loo rolls the one time he was left for half an hour. Still, we will have to see how it goes.

I am sure he could be good if he tried. We are going to start taking him to puppy training classes this weekend.

Daughter is still getting up willingly at 6am to walk him, which is very good considering the weather we've had.

I'm not too keen on the mornings but I do quite enjoy the evening tramp through the park as a way of relaxing after a long, hard day.

Actually, to be truthful, I had a fairly easy week last week as I was on a training course.

Back to proper work this week though, so while daughter is at her grandparents' being pampered, I will be catching up on the pile that accumulated on my desk in my absence.
