In the 11 weeks since Sita began its service in August, I've have only had three regular collections, with eight missed. My calculations make that a 72 per cent failure rate! If Richard Boele has had only two regular collections out of 11 that equates to 81 per cent failure.

Is this the story throughout the area? These high failure rates cannot be isolated

incidents.

So what's the problem? One would think with such high failures, the answers would be simple - either not enough staff or not enough refuse vehicles, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
