Mark Windsor took his tally to eight for the season as Albion's impressive under-17s toppled league leaders Leyton Orient 3-1 at Brisbane Road last Saturday.
Windsor scored twice as Albion moved to within two points of Orient at the top of the Football League Youth Alliance.
First year scholarship player Phil Bartholomew was also on target, netting his second of the season for a Seagulls side who were always in control.
Also impressive was 15-year-old Alex Bryant, who produced another eye-catching performance in goal.
Director of youth Martin Hinshelwood said: "It was Orient's first defeat of the season and the match was played at Brisbane Road, which is all good experience for the lads."
The under-17s have now lost just one of their eight games to date, a record matched by the under-19s who are also second in their division.
It was a frustrating day for the under-19s last weekend as their match at home to Southend was rained off.
They will hope to return to winning ways with a visit to lowly Portsmouth this Saturday. Meanwhile, the under-17s play mid-table Cambridge United at Lancing College (12.00).
Matt Geard, a regular for the under-17s this season, made his senior debut for Ringmer away to Redhill in the John O'Hara League Cup last Tuesday. Matt's father, former Albion player Glen, is manager at Ringmer.
FORMER Albion keeper Mark Ormerod has completed a free transfer move from Woking to Dorchester.
Ormerod is teaming up again with ex-Seagull Mark Morris, who is in charge of the Dr Martens League club.
