Don't blame Horsham boss John Maggs if he does not stray far from his mobile phone today.
The Horsham boss will be anxiously awaiting news of weather, traffic congestion and the whereabouts of his players as they head for their delayed FA Cup clash at Yeovil (7.45).
The tie was called off around 45 minutes before the scheduled kick-off on Saturday as torrential rain made the Huish Park pitch unplayable.
Yeovil confidently expect to get the game on tonight, with a home tie against Colchester awaiting the winners in the first round proper.
But Maggs will be keen to hear of any sudden downpours in Somerset, road closures en route or delays for any of his players travelling independently.
Dave Bastian and Steve Flain are making their own way to Yeovil from London while John Kirby was still doubtful last night due to work commitments.
Maggs may draft in Dave Odongo and is hoping to take Duncan Green as goalkeeping cover.
The Hornets boss said: "The state of the roads could be our biggest problem. Hopefully John Kirby will be there. We are still working on it. He has got the height we need in defence."
Much of the talk around Huish Park on Saturday was of Yeovil's forthcoming Conference six-pointer with Rushden.
Skipper Matt Smart hopes that may work in Horsham's favour.
He said: "Hopefully Yeovil will have an eye on that one but we realise how hard it will be for us. Playing in midweek always gives an even bigger advantage to the home side."
The match promises to be a huge test of his Horsham's character and defensive steel.
Yeovil: Pennock, Piper, Tonkin, Skiverton, White, Way, Belgrave, Smith, Parmore, Critenden, Peters. Subs: Bent, Lindegarrad, O'Brien, Thompson, Weale.
Horsham: Chatfield, Barnes, Bastian, Ward, Kirby or Odongo, Andrews, Smart, Clark, Geddes, Flain, Charman. Subs from: Green or Etheridge, Moore, Mackay, Payne, Odongo.
WHITEHAWK'S Sussex RUR Cup replay with Oakwood tonight has been switched to East Brighton Park as Oakwood's ground is waterlogged.
FORMER Crawley Town striker Ben Abbey has joined Southend United after failing to win a regular first team spot at Oxford United.
The 22-year-old hitman made his Southend debut as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Mansfield on Saturday and he has signed a deal with Southend until the end of the season.
