Two new athletics-based games have been released for those wanting to relive "the best ever Olympic games".
One of them, Dreamcast's Virtual Athlete 2K, consists of seven popular athletic events, 100m dash, long jump, shot put, high jump, 110m hurdles, javelin and the 1500m.
The controls are simple to learn, relentless button-mashing and perfect angle-timing being all you need to break records.
The javelin and shot put stand out as the best as they have the most satisfaction element of timing that all-important angle.
The running events are tiresome - hit the buttons frantically, then do it again.
The graphics are disappointing. This, along with having only seven events that take around eight minutes to go through, will leave you feeling a little hard done by.
If there was ever a good reason to put down that controller and go out there and do it for real, this is it!
