On behalf of the Sussex ME/CFS Society's committee I wish to thank all of those who have supported us over the difficult months since the national ME Association encouraged us towards independence.
Our patrons and professional advisors have stood by us and given much encouragement when we needed it. During the Autumn we were granted full charitable status and now have almost 600 subscribed members from all over Sussex.
We are now working with renewed vigour to gain recognition and treatment for ME/CFS patients equal to that available to those suffering from other chronic neurological disorders.
-C Barton, Chair, Sussex ME/CFS Society
