A teenager is recovering in hospital after being found unconscious and suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The 13-year-old boy was discovered in the South Terrace area of Littlehampton and police were called at just after 3am this morning.

The boy is currently in hospital receiving treatment for his injuries.

Four people were arrested at an address in South Terrace and are currently in custody and will be questioned later today.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
