Hove under-13s beat visitors Brighton 22-10 on Sunday.
Hove took advantage of early dominance with Toby Sutton scoring the first try. A further try by Jordan Turner-Hall followed with Max Garth converting.
Hove dominance was rewarded with a third try from No.8 Kane Marchant.
Brighton hit back and from a maul went over for a try. Hove's Matt Hamilton was injured but X-rays showed no serious damage.
After the restart Elliot Potts stretched Hove's lead to 22-5 before Brighton scored a late consolation.
Fixture secretary Clive Peters' phone calls paid dividends as he secured Hove under-12s a match against Eastbourne, who had been inactive for a month.
Eastbourne found Hove difficult opponents as Jordan Peters, Alex Robertson and Matt Lanshorn possessed too much pace for them to handle.
Hove had a 42-0 victory in the first match with Lanshorn, Robertson, Richard Bayliss, Peters (two) and Ben McNamara all going over and Robertson improving the total with his boot.
Hove made changes to their forwards which was reflected in a closer second match which Hove won 19-7 as Peters, Robertson and Kurt Butler scored tries. Hove are back in action on January 7 when they entertain Crawley.
