The baby from Woodingdean is the first person to have been born in the sparkling new city by the sea.
There were 100 faces from each year of the last century as part of The Place to Be campaign for Brighton and Hove to become a city. How fitting if the new baby could now be made the 101st to celebrate the millennium city.
