I see Ivor Caplin is appalled by the advertising cards placed by prostitutes in phone boxes (December 13).
I wish Mr Caplin was equally appalled by the blocked gutters, drains and grilles we in Hove have to live with, plus cans, crisp bags, etc, that seem to have been floating around for weeks.
Take to the streets, Mr Caplin. I suggest you start in the School Road area, off Portland Road, where many elderly folk are wary of venturing out if using walking aids.
