A council spokesperson's condemnation of an offensive and misleading leaflet deserves praise, not criticism (December 16).
The leaflet's portrayal of a Hove raped and ruined by Brighton is not one I recognise, either as a local resident or councillor.
In George Street the environment has been improved. Huge investment has taken place in schools like Portslade Community College.
It is strange the group telling us what to think in Hove is based in Kemp Town. But what offends most is the loony right-wing extremism Russell Hick and his cronies are trying to introduce to the local political scene.
My own view is that most people are too sensible to be taken in by his unsubtle propaganda.
