Armed raiders robbed a Mid Sussex travel agency of cash and travellers' cheques.
Two men walked into Thomas Cook in London Road, East Grinstead, at 5pm yesterday.
One of the robbers is reported to have been carrying a knife.
The pair forced staff to hand over the haul and fled the building. No one was hurt.
Both men were black and in their early twenties. One was about 5ft 8in tall, stockily built and wore dark clothing and a woollen hat.
The other was 5ft 7in tall, thin, had a goatee beard and wore a beige jacket, blue jogging bottoms and trainers.
