We never see any street cleaners at all. The gulleys, drains and gutters are a health hazard, as are the piles of litter everywhere. Along with plastic bags, containers, cans, crisp bags and cigarette litter floating around, there are piles of rotting, decaying soggy leaves which are dangerous underfoot.
There is no excuse for all this. It is such a shame to see Brighton and Hove beginning to look like one big waste tip.
I haven't even mentioned the graffiti and abandoned old cars!
