Two died in New Year accidents on Mid Sussex roads.
A 27-year-old cyclist was killed crashing into trees in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Mark Burgess, of Depot Road, Horsham, sustained fatal injuries in the accident at Roost Hole, Hammerpond Road, Mannings Heath, at 3.05am.
Police said he failed to negotiate a bend as he rode down a steep hill.
Police, who are appealing for witnesses, said the victim was riding an Emmelle ladies' bike.
And a 63-year-old man was killed when his car clipped a kerb and overturned, leaving him trapped inside.
The accident happened near Turner's Hill Road, East Grinstead, on New Year's Eve.
Police believe the accident came after the driver suffered a heart attack or a stroke. He died at the scene. No other vehicle was involved.
The man has not been named by Sussex police, who operate data protection guidelines.
