Land Securities' plans for enhancing the Ravenside Retail and Leisure Park in Bexhill-on-Sea go on display to the public from tomorrow.
The display will take place in the Elizabeth Room at the De La Warr Pavilion from 2 to 6pm.
Land Securities is seeking to redevelop the Drallim site on the Brett Drive Industrial Estate to provide a new 3,000 square metre retail warehouse, a small shop and drive-through fast food restaurant.
The move is expected to provide at least 65 new jobs and lead to improvements in public transport services. Access to the park will also be improved.
The site for the proposed extension covers an area of 3.2 hectacres. It comprises the north eastern part of Brett Drive as well as properties on the De La Warr Road.
Drallim Industries supplies high-tech equipment for the oil industry and is one of Bexhill's largest employers.
The company is seeking to relocate locally at premises which will enable the business to continue to expand.
Land Securities' project manager Ken Venables said: "The proposed extension will broaden the retail offer of Bexhill and consolidate the function of the retail and leisure park as a district centre .
"It will also help Bexhill to retain its market share and prevent the flow of expenditure to competing centres such as Hastings and Eastbourne."
