A man has appeared in court accused of possessing a cocked and loaded .22 Deringer handgun.
Robert Hastings, 33, of Mitcham Lane, Streatham, London, was accused of having the handgun on January 6 in Worthing with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was also charged with having an illegal firearm, resisting arrest and the possession of cannabis and ecstasy.
Worthing Magistrates remanded Hastings in custody until January 16.
