Regarding Deryn Summers' article about Alan and Adrian Nevell (December 30), The estate agent office in Church Road, Hove, was not the first office that Alan had.
I went to work for Alan as a secretary straight from Clark's College, Brighton, in 1952. The estate agency was then conducted from a large front room in his home in Albany Villas.
There must be someone who remembers the "Nevell Estate Agents" board outside all those years ago.
