Army defender Joe Collins is in line for a dramatic call-up for Bognor in the FA Trophy.

The Combined Services stopper will partner David Wright if, as expected, Jay Pickering fails to overcome a knee injury in time for the home tie with Billericay.

Bognor's plans for their biggest game of the season have also been disrupted by David Birmingham's ankle injury and Guy Rutherford's three-match ban.

Miles Rutherford has gone down with flu but Jamie Howell returns.

The side's recent revival earnt Jack Pearce the Ryman division one manager-of-the-month prize for December and he is relishing tomorrow's tie.

Pearce said: "It's a big day for the club. If we play to our potential we can give anyone a game. David's injury is a body blow to us but it just shows the value in giving some of our squad a game at Worthing the other night."

Bognor must decide who partners Matt Russell in attack. Nicky Wyatt impressed in the midweek win at Worthing, though Pearce missed that match due to a scouting mission.

Skipper Michael Birmingham, who scored twice against Rebels, believes Bognor can clinch a fourth successive home win.

He said: "We will give Billericay the respect they are due but playing a premier division side will suit us.

"If we can get the ball down and move it around quickly we will fancy our chances."
