Albion are sweating on the health of goal ace Bobby Zamora for tomorrow's first ever League visit to Kidderminster Harriers.

Zamora was sent home yesterday suffering from sickness and diarrhoea.

Manager Micky Adams said: "He is not well at the moment. The players were off on Wednesday after the Brentford game and Bobby didn't train yesterday, so there must be a doubt about him."

Zamora headed his 17th goal of the season in the Seagulls' exit on penalties from the LDV Vans Trophy at Brentford.

Amazingly he has not scored away from home in the League since a hat-trick at Chester last February, but Adams regards that as purely a statistical anomaly.

"I can think of games away from home in the League when he's had chances," Adams said.

"He was back to his best at Brentford the other night.

"He had a bit of a point to prove because he knew he had not been playing well, but thankfully the speculation about his future has all died down."

Albion are aiming to avenge a timid 2-0 defeat by Kidderminster at Withdean in August.

"The second half of the season did not start too well against Southend and, regardless of the result against Brentford, the important game was always going to be Kidderminster," added Adams.

"It's about professional pride. Southend have done the double against us and the incentive is there for Kidderminster to do the same."

Charlie Oatway is available after suspension and Matthew Wicks has recovered from a calf knock, but there are doubts about two potential substitutes.

Steve Melton injured a knee at Brentford and youngster Adam Virgo broke a figure in the reserves on Wednesday.

Harriers boss Jan Molby, who transfer-listed seven players yesterday, said: "It's another chance of a double.

"We've had that opportunity in the first three League games of the New Year, so we are hoping for third time lucky.

"It's a big game for us because it's sure to test us against the best. Everybody is talking about Zamora, but Brighton have plenty of other good players like Gary Hart, Nathan Jones and Matthew Wicks."
