In response to Bryan Childers regarding the unacceptable face of club culture (January 30), I am in total agreement.
Not all clubbers are rowdy, but the proliferation of clubs will lead to greater problems for the authorities policing the streets.
As someone who moved here from Manchester, then the UK's club capital, I saw regularly the effect on the city centre of 'club culture'.
What's especially worrying is the inevitable gang involvement. In a scene where there's a lot of drug taking, there is obviously a great deal of money to be made. Hence gang presence.
If they are not already there, they will be. Brighton club owners be warned. You could be the next Hacienda.
