Worthing's depressing run continued at Harlow Town where a late goal from Danny Cowley gave the hosts a 3-2 division one victory after Rebels had twice led.
Sammy Donnelly's side, now without a win in their last 11 games, had to play the final 21 minutes with ten men following the sending off of Neil Winter.
Winter, booked in the first half, received another caution for retaliation in a flare up with David Gray who was booked.
An overhead kick by striker Marc Rice gave Rebels an 18th-minute lead, but Harlow levelled 14 minutes later through Marvin Samuel.
Simon Funnell restored Worthing's advantage on 33 minute but John Coley equalised the 54th minute and Cowley sealed the points three minutes from time.
Bognor staged a second half fight back to draw 3-3 at Staines.
Rocks manager Jack Pearce said: "It was an excellent performance. I was disappointed with the final result."
Nick Hooper put Staines ahead in the 16th minute.
Bognor equalised through Neil Scammell a minute before the interval but seconds later went behind when Hooper scored again.
Bognor went in front through Jodey Rowland (57th minute) and Nicky Wyatt (70) before Steve Talboy equalised (79).
