More than 150 youngsters enjoyed an afternoon of singing, eating and dancing at a party organised by the Argus Appeal.
The event staged at Donatello Restaurant in The Lanes, Brighton, saw performances from magicians, clowns and DJs.
It was held thanks to money donated to the appeal by its vast army of supporters who, during the past six months, helped raise more than £70,000.
Yesterday, children, some with disabilities, benefited from that cash with an afternoon crammed with excitement.
Mickey Magic wowed youngsters by contorting balloons into animals, flamboyant MC Big Bob whipped the crowd into a frenzy while Brillo the Clown brought beaming smiles to all.
Children feasted on pizza, spaghetti bolognese, chips and ice cream, served with brightly-coloured disco cocktails.
Toys were handed out which had been donated through the appeal by travel agency Travelcare.
Appeal co-ordinator, Elsa Gillio, said: "This party would not have been possible without the generosity of the appeal's many supporters.
"Every one of them should feel proud of what they have achieved."
