I WAS very pleased to read about restoration of the Floral Clock in Palmeira Square, Hove (Argus, February 3).
My father, Jock Houston, was a blacksmith for Hove Borough Council and I remember him saying he had made some parts for it, so we took great interest in it when it was installed. It is beautiful.
