Millions of mobile phones are being dumped each year as owners switch to new and more efficient models.
Now Brighton and Hove Council is working with the Lions to recycle phones and send them to countries where technology is less advanced.
Recycling company CDM will also donate cash to the Lions charity appeal for each phone received.
Charity begins at home and for the Lions, this scheme is a nice little number.
