Two Brighton businesses have joined forces to work on an important environmental and architectural project.
Lime Marketing and new media company Alma Internet have been commissioned to raise awareness of developments in historic environments.
The project, known as Citydesigner.com, had been commissioned by the London-based practices, The Richard Coleman Consultancy and Coleman Eldridge Research, which work at the centre of urban design issues in historic environments.
As part of their work, they aim to promote awareness and debate about development, conservation and related city design issues through the Citydesigner domain, which launched yesterday.
Lewis Eldridge, partner in the venture, said: "Citydesigner gives net users access to our combined consultancy services with our focus on urban design, architecture and conservation issues."
This is one of a succession of web site projects Alma and Lime have joined forces on in the past year.
Claire Webster from Alma Internet said: "Together we ensure we don't waste the reader's time. A fatal flaw of many web sites today is that they are badly laid out, with complex oversize graphics.
"Our aim is to be clean, crisp and concise."
