What a lovely surprise to receive Tony Wales' book A Treasury Of Sussex Folklore (Weekend, February 3). I know I'm going to enjoy it.
Some friends and myself were saying the other day we never hear those old "Sussex sayings" of long ago. It's good to think people still take the time to write them down. Thank you, Mr Wales.
This book will certainly be treasured and I shall look for one to send my daughter in Australia next Christmas.
