Worthing are on course to claim a league and cup double.
A 4-1 win against Eastbourne on Saturday kept Worthing three points clear at the top of Kent and Sussex division one, then on Sunday they produced a tremendous performance to reach the quarter finals of the HA Vase with a 5-4 win away to Cirencester.
Sunday's victory was a memorable effort as Worthing twice came from behind to sink their hosts.
Trailing early on, Worthing hit back through Andy Allen and then had an effort from skipper Simon Holloway disallowed. Colin Dand scored from a short corner to put the Sussex side 2-1 ahead but Cirencester hit back with goals either side of half time to take a 3-2 advantage.
This sparked Worthing into action. Rex Fuller levelled, Cerdic Atkinson scored with a tremendous effort and, after having a goal disallowed, Fuller finally netted his second to make it 5-3.
In the closing stages James Godber was penalised for a penalty flick which Cirencester converted but Worthing hit back and were awarded a penalty flick of their own which John Massie blazed over the bar.
Worthing will now be at home to Chapeltown in the quarter finals on March 4. The Yorkshire outfit won 5-1 against Southampton in their fourth round tie.
It is the first home tie Worthing have had in this year's competition.
It was a good weekend for Worthing although a few minds may have been on Sunday's big game when they produced a less than convincing display against Eastbourne on Saturday.
Dave Morgan put Eastbourne ahead but Worthing hit back with goals from Allen, Dand and a brace from Fuller. This weekend, Worthing visit third placed Ashford and the following week they play host to Burnt Ash, who are currently second.
Elsewhere in Kent and Sussex division one there were defeats on Saturday for both Penguins and Newhaven.
Penguins went down 3-2 away to New Beccehamian while Newhaven lost 4-0 at Sutton Valence.
It was a bad weekend for Horsham's women as they lost both their Southern Premier games over the weekend. Kay Harris got the consolation in a 2-1 defeat against Tulse Hill on Saturday and Southampton took maximum points on Sunday with a 3-0 success.
