Police are searching for a man who robbed a shop in Horsham after threatening staff with a knife.
The man escaped with cash and cigarettes from One Stop in Station Road after threatening male and female staff members with a blade.
The two members of staff were shocked but unhurt.
The robber was aged 20 to 30 and between 5ft 8in and 5ft 11in tall. He wore dark clothing and a dark baseball cap when he struck at 10.55pm on Saturday.
Detective Constable Lin Stilewell said: "In a town like Horsham this is an unusual crime which has greatly upset the staff at the shop.
"I'd urge anyone with information to come forward. The shop is behind Horsham railway station and next to the Bedford pub.
"At closing time on a Saturday night I'm sure there were witnesses around who have yet to get in touch."
