It's about time Johnnie Two-Jags (the deputy prime minister/transport minister) got off his backside and did something for the travelling public, such as trying a ride on the Brighton line unannounced for a few days.
Let's see if he can get quick, updated information from the train companies that the general public cannot.
I believe because Connex has lots its franchise it could not care less.
I travelled down from Victoria last Saturday evening. The coach was so dirty I thought it was one taken from the steam train that had run on the line during the day.
Also, two passengers checked by the conductor had no tickets but were let off. So what was the sense in buying my own?
