An armed raider has struck at a betting shop in Worthing - the 11th such robbery in the town since Christmas.
In the latest incident, a man burst into Ladbrokes in Rowlands Road, brandished a gun and demanded cash.
The raider, described as being of mixed race, escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.
Staff at the branch have been given the day off today to recover from their ordeal.
Earlier in the week, a postmaster in Lyndhurst Road grappled with a raider who tired to rob his shop and the villain fled empty-handed.
Police are not linking either raid with the previous nine, believed to have been carried out by the same person.
