Police are appealing for witnesses after a road smash killed a 66-year-old East Sussex man.
Thomas Harris, of Cuckmere Rise, Heathfield, died after being hit by a Peugeot car on the A267 at Five Ashes, near Crowborough.
He was knocked down as he tried to cross the road near the Five Ashes Inn.
Police want to trace other motorists who were driving through the village at the time, 8.23pm on February 9.
A spokesman said: "There were at least four vehicles travelling close together towards Heathfield.
"Police have spoken to two of these drivers and now wish to speak to the other two."
