Graham Lambert was climbing to the top of his profession when he was struck down by a mystery virus.
Back in the Sixties and Seventies, under the name of Graham Starr, he was a top disc jockey at the old ice rink in Brighton and other venues.
Since then his marriage has broken up and he has been treated in a home in Crawley for his complaint. He is wheelchair-bound and paralysed.
Despite the steep downturn in his fortunes, Graham is returning to Brighton and wants to meet up again with his old friends in the music industry.
Fate has taken away his health. But it can't take away his memories or his tremendous will to live in spite of enormous adversity.
