As a regular diner at Leone's Restaurant in Hove, I was surprised at the criticism levelled by Audrey Simpson (Ahead, February 21).
While I appreciate the reviewer's comments are an individual opinion, I cannot accept her all-round criticisms.
The decor and ambience of Leone's have no equal, particularly in today's modern, minimalistic restaurant style.
We have never had a meal which could be described as weak. The ingredients are not only fresh but also beautifully presented and served by professional, caring staff.
Our experiences have always been excellent and, judging by the restaurant's continued popularity, many other diners would agree.
We will continue to frequent Leone's for its value and excellence and suggest your readers do the same.
