Gavin Geddes was among the scorers as Horsham strolled to a 3-0 win away to Wokingham Town.
Geddes had been expected to complete a move to Lewes before the weekend, but instead he was in the Hornets line-up for this victory.
It was Geddes who opened the scoring on 11 minutes with a volley from 25 yards which goalkeeper Stuart Collar should have saved comfortably.
Horsham's luck held when Wokingham striker Gary Blake missed an open goal with keeper Ian Chatfield out of his area.
Two minutes into the second half Horsham scored a second through Ryan Andrews and victory was sealed when Gary Charman added a third ten minues later.
Hornets boss John Maggs said: "That makes it four on the trot without conceding a goal and you can't argue with that."
Lewes extended their unbeaten league run to 21 games with a deserved 1-0 win away to promotion rivals Tring.
The home side offered little in attack throughout the 90 minutes but with injuries to all three first team strikers it was a question of whether Lewes could score with their reshaped forward line of Richard Hudson and Rob Boddy.
The winning goal eventually came 24 seconds into the second half. A through ball found Hudson who carried it into the penalty area before producing an excellent finish.
