A cashier was kicked by armed raiders who grabbed cash from a Brighton petrol station.
The two men, one white and the other black, tricked the 44-year-old woman into opening the door at the Total service station in Eastern Road early yesterday.
The pair carried baseball bats but did not use them.
They pushed the cashier to the ground and kicked her before taking cash, cigarettes and phone cards. She was shaken but not seriously hurt.
The raid happened at 4.24am. Police have appealed for witnesses.
