I am lucky enough to be able to enjoy eating out across the range of restaurants offered by Brighton and Hove, the choice available being part of the fun.
I will not list in detail the differences between my experience of a packed and vibrant Leone's Restaurant on February 24 and those detailed in Audrey Simpson's review (Ahead, February 20), from which emanate distinctive odours of gracelessness and snobbery.
If you enjoy surroundings which border on the opulent and food with "old fashioned" rich sauces served by staff determined to make your evening special, go to Leone's.
If you want to eat faux fusion food in an echoing void of bleached wood and stainless steel, go somewhere else. Simple, isn't it?
